Kristin Tårnesvik

Kristin Tårnesvik`s artistic practice consists of different roles, from being an active exhibitor, producer and disseminator of other’s art to organising and participating in seminars and workshops. Thematically her work is an ongoing exploration of the relationship between art, political ideology and propaganda that evolved from asking questions about ethnicity, geographic and national belonging in the North, and examining the political ideology of the hegemonic structures that lie hidden behind human life and affect the choices people make. Tårnesvik helds an MA in photography (2004) from Bergen Academy of Art and Design.
