Pepijn Aben
Pepijn Aben (NL) qualified as a sound engineer at the Amsterdam Film Academy. Since then he has worked on a films ranging from wildlife documentaries to concert registrations. Aben has worked in extreme climates, ranging from the raging heat (+45˚C) of the Sahara to the extreme cold (-45˚C) of the North Pole and in Mongolia. In 2007 Aben and his colleagues with J. Roskam, M. Glynne and K. de Groot won the Dutch Gouden Kalf award for best sound for the film Tussenstand (dir. Mijke de Jong).
